One of the key jazz groups of the time are here featured with previously unreleased material recorded around the summer and autumn of 1958.
Led by the legendary pianist Dave Brubeck these studio transcriptions feature Brubeck’s long time sax player Paul Desmond, Joe Benjamin and Joe Morello.
An added historical significance in the jazz world is that these were the last sessions to feature Benjamin before he was replaced by Eugene Wright.
