Moving from saloon to band singer with The Hoboken Four and later with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey, Sinatra went on to become one of the world’s greatest entertainers.
Our superbly re-mastered double CD captures our hero in his formative years from 1941 with Tommy Dorsey just before he went solo in 1942 through to 1950. During this time Sinatra scaled the heights to become the first teen idol to a generation of predominantly young girls known as bobbysoxers!
On this well filled double CD, Sinatra’s distinctive voice can be heard interpreting many classic songs from the great American songbook. A fascinating glimpse into the development of a legend!
