Doris Day in fact started her professional performing career at the tender age of 16 when she joined the Les Brown Band as resident singer. Later she was to go on to greater success as a solo perfomer, both eras showcase the wonderful singing talent of Doris Day and are featured on this superbly remasterd double CD.
