For the second release on our new label imprint AVID EASY we have chosen to feature the “in performance” work from the 1950’s of the legendary old trouper Noel Coward.
Taken from both sides of the Atlantic our wonderfully re-mastered 2 x CD set finds the “mad dog and Englishman” in a finely relaxed mood as he effortlessly takes us through an enormous selection of mostly self composed songs, showing just how prolific a writer and charismatic performer he actually was!
Primary focus is on he US performances at the Wilbur Clark Desert Inn Las Vegas in 1955 and in New York a year later in 1956.
The track listing speaks for itself and as a bonus to conclude CD2 we have included Coward’s final British performances taken from a scarce 10” LP.
